Leisure Options would like to thank all our travellers for their patience and support during this very difficult time. The safety and wellbeing of our travellers and employees continues to be our highest priority and we are working hard to ensure the best outcomes for all.

The ongoing outbreak of COVID-19 has meant that we need to make changes to ordinary business practices. Understanding what the future of travel will look like isn’t easy, but rest assured that Leisure Options is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all those in our care.

As state and international boarders open towards the end of 2021, we are excited to offer you some amazing travel options whilst also actively taking steps to minimise the impact of coronavirus on our employees, travellers, and business operations.

In line with the Victorian government mandate for essential workers, it will be a condition of employment that all Leisure Option’s staff and tour leaders are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As many countries, airlines, hospitality venues and attractions now require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination Leisure Options is only able to accommodate fully vaccinated travellers or those with a legitimate medical exemption.

Despite the high vaccinate rates in Australia Leisure Options will continue to follow the range of ‘health and wellbeing measures’ that were implemented to give you peace-of-mind in preparation for your next holiday.

Returning to travel

At Leisure Options we will look after you with strict pre-departure health screenings, industry-leading hygiene practices and enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols.

Pre-Tour

Ensuring we have copies of vaccination certificates for all travellers

Information sent to all travellers before you depart, so you know what to expect. This will include a Wellness Questionnaire that must be completed prior to departure to assess for any COVID-19 symptoms prior to departure.

Liaising with our suppliers in all of our destinations to ensure their health and safety protocols are of the highest standard, such as sanitisation, cleaning processes and more

COVID will continue to change the way people travel so all of these measures will remain in effect as long as needed.  We will continue to adapt as we evaluate situations and continue to consult with government health authorities and agencies.
